01Meet NoorTapWhat is NoorTap?
What is NoorTap?
Noor Digital makes NoorTap, its own line of NFC cards for Qatari businesses, handled end to end from Doha: design, chip programming, testing and delivery. There are two things in the range - a business card that shares a person's details on tap, and a review card that opens your Google review form.
- Both carry the same chip; only the link and artwork differ
- How a tap behaves is set out on the digital business card page
- No app, no battery, and no personal information on the chip
- Brought in house so artwork comes from your own brand files
- NoorTap sits alongside our printing and branding, not replacing it
02Choose your cardWhich NoorTap card should I choose?
Which NoorTap card should I choose?
Noor Digital asks one question first: who is doing the tapping. If your staff share details with a client, you want the business card. If your customers leave a review at a counter, you want the review card or a stand. The chip is the same; the link and artwork are not.
- A wallet card is judged on weight and finish when handed over
- A counter card is judged on surviving two wipe-downs a day
- Metal cards need the antenna engineered around the metal
- Thick lamination reads less reliably, whatever the card looks like
- Tell us who taps, how many, Arabic side, destination and date
03Design, programme, deliverHow do I order NoorTap cards, and what happens next?
How do I order NoorTap cards, and what happens next?
Noor Digital runs a NoorTap order in four steps: a short brief on who the cards are for and what a tap should open, artwork from your brand files or designed fresh, the filled-in roster for a team order, then production, programming, testing and delivery.
- Two written approvals first: a visual proof at actual size
- And a test link for every card, opened on your own phone
- A wrong link is invisible until somebody taps it before a client
- Orders timed to National Day or an exhibition are planned backwards
- Delivery to West Bay, Lusail, Msheireb and out towards Al Wakrah
04Updates and replacementsWhat happens if a card stops working or someone leaves?
What happens if a card stops working or someone leaves?
Noor Digital replaces a card that fails on arrival or fails to read through no fault of handling. NFC chips are passive and have no battery, so a card that stops working has almost always been bent, drilled for a lanyard, or put through a laundry.
- A card is tied to its destination, not to whoever it was printed for
- When somebody leaves, repoint it and reuse the physical card
- Promotions, new numbers, rebrands and moved offices work the same way
- We make that change on request for cards we programmed
- Whoever controls the link controls the card, so we hold it in your name
05Local setup and supportWhy buy NoorTap rather than an NFC card from an online store?
Why buy NoorTap rather than an NFC card from an online store?
Noor Digital's position is that a blank NFC card ordered online is cheap and often fine for one person comfortable programming it. Where it stops being fine is thirty cards for a sales team, an Arabic side, artwork matching your printed material, and somebody accountable when four do not read.
- Artwork comes from the same brand files as your company profile
- Every card read back on an iPhone and an Android before packing
- Ordering from overseas means customs, unplannable delay and a full reprint
- Designed, printed, programmed and tested in Doha for fixed-date events
- Noor Digital is In-Country Value certified, which procurement scores
Questions about NoorTap NFC Cards
01What is NoorTap?
Noor Digital makes NoorTap, its own line of NFC cards, drawn up and chipped in its Doha studio. There are two kinds: business cards that share a person's contact details on tap, and review cards and stands that open your Google review form. Both work on an ordinary phone with no app installed.
02How much does a NoorTap card cost?
Noor Digital quotes on the card type and finish, the quantity, whether artwork is designed or supplied, and whether the page behind the card is built by us. Quantity moves the figure most, because a single card and a team set are produced differently. Say what a tap should open and for how many people.
03Do NoorTap cards need an app?
No. Noor Digital programmes each chip with a web address, so the phone simply opens a web page. Nothing is installed on your phone or on the phone tapping the card. Any iPhone from the XR generation on, and effectively every current Android handset, reads one while the screen is still locked.
04Can NoorTap cards be made in Arabic?
Yes. Noor Digital produces the Arabic and the English side together and puts both on the proof, so you approve the Arabic before anything is printed rather than after. Where Noor Digital hosts the page a card opens, an Arabic version of that page is part of the same order and not a later addition.
05Can I order a single card, or is there a minimum?
Noor Digital takes single-card orders as readily as team sets, and plenty of founders start with one before rolling out to a sales floor. What changes with quantity is how the cards are produced and quoted, so it helps to mention the likely eventual number when you first ask.
06What happens if a NoorTap card is lost?
Noor Digital points the link somewhere else as soon as you tell us, so a lost card stops showing your details. The chip carries only a web address and no personal data, so a card found by a stranger exposes nothing that was not already published. A replacement is programmed from the same record.
