01The design outputWhat does Noor Digital’s graphic design team produce?
What does Noor Digital’s graphic design team produce?
Noor Digital produces the recurring design work a company cannot keep handing out piecemeal: social posts, presentations, brochures, catalogues, signage, menus, labels and packaging artwork. It is one studio in Doha rather than a rotating cast of freelancers, which is why the tenth job still resembles the first.
- Social and campaign creative composed at each platform’s real size
- Presentation and pitch decks built as templates your team reuses
- Print and environmental: brochures, signage, wall vinyl, exhibition stands, menus
- No colour or type rules yet? The first job writes them
- Peaks absorbed - National Day, exhibitions, launches - without hiring for them
02Project or monthly supportDo you work project by project or monthly?
Do you work project by project or monthly?
Noor Digital does both. A one-off job is scoped, priced and delivered on its own terms. A monthly arrangement sets an agreed volume, a turnaround time and one point of contact, which suits companies producing something most weeks of the year. The queue stays visible either way.
- Monthly suits predictable volume: daily retail posting, seasonal clinic campaigns
- Project work suits design that is genuinely occasional
- You see what is in progress, what is next, each due date
- Unlimited-request retainers are padded pricing or a month-three disappointment
- Volume is written down; anything beyond it is quoted first
03Bilingual typographyHow do you handle Arabic typography and bilingual layouts?
How do you handle Arabic typography and bilingual layouts?
Noor Digital composes Arabic artwork rather than dropping translated text into an English layout. Arabic runs longer or shorter than its English equivalent by amounts nobody can predict, so a bilingual poster laid out in English comes back with a gap under the headline or a line that will not fit.
- Software without proper shaping support breaks the Arabic letter joins
- Numerals and Latin brand names inside Arabic need direction handled manually
- Arabic usually needs a larger point size to read as equally prominent
- A Msheireb menu and a government report lead in different languages
04Keep the brand consistentHow do you keep a year of design work looking like one brand?
How do you keep a year of design work looking like one brand?
Noor Digital keeps a live set of masters rather than starting each job from whatever file someone last emailed. Colour values, type styles, vector logos, template grids and approved photography sit in one place, and every new piece is built from them. Drift starts when a designer rebuilds from a compressed image.
- Existing guidelines are worked inside, including head-office ones you cannot alter
- Where none exists, month one produces five pages of rules
- Print artwork carries bleed, crop marks, colour mode, print resolution
- Screen artwork exported at the real dimensions each platform uses
05A brief ready to designWhat has to be ready before a design job starts?
What has to be ready before a design job starts?
Noor Digital needs four things: what the piece is for, where it will appear, the final text, and the deadline. Text is what holds jobs up, because a layout cannot be finished around copy that keeps changing length. A rough idea is still a starting point.
- Final copy in each language, or a decision to have it written
- Vector logo files, if the studio does not already hold them
- The printer or platform specification: size, format, bleed, deadline
- One approver who can close the feedback loop
- Ramadan and National Day book out Doha print and signage
Questions about Graphic Design Company in Qatar
01How many revision rounds are included in a design job?
Noor Digital writes the number of revision rounds into each job's scope when it is quoted, usually tied to one approver's consolidated feedback per round, so the count is agreed before design starts. Changes requested after the agreed rounds, or a change of brief once artwork is approved, are quoted as a new job rather than absorbed.
02Do you provide editable source files?
Noor Digital hands over source files on request, and always for anything your team will need to update itself, such as certificates, price lists and name badges. Some studios withhold these to keep clients dependent. Ask for them in the scope and they are included, with the font licences noted.
03How quickly can you turn around a design job?
Noor Digital agrees a due date for each job when it is scoped, and does not quote one blanket turnaround. A social post in your existing style is the quickest job Noor Digital handles, usually within two working days. A brochure or an exhibition stand is a matter of weeks, most of it spent waiting on copy and approvals.
04Do you write the Arabic copy, or do we supply it?
Noor Digital can do either. If you supply Arabic, the studio sets it properly and flags anything that reads as translated. If Noor Digital writes it, the Arabic is composed as original copy for the audience, which is what corporate and government readers in Qatar expect to be handed.
05Can you work inside our existing brand guidelines?
Yes. Send the guideline and the font licences at the start, and Noor Digital builds every piece from them. Where the guideline is silent, and most are silent on Arabic, Noor Digital proposes a rule, gets it approved once, and adds it to the set so it is not reinvented job by job.
06What does graphic design cost in Qatar?
Noor Digital quotes a single job on its own and a monthly arrangement on agreed volume, so the two are not compared on the same line. Piece count, whether both languages are needed, and whether photography or illustration is involved all move the number. Send the list of what you produce in a typical month.
